OPENING OF THE SHRINE OF
"OUR LADY OF FOURVIERE"
AND THE FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS

On the occasion of the 25th Jubilee of the Community of the Beatitudes in New Zealand, you are warmly invited to the Opening of the new Shrine to Our Lady of Fourvière New Zealand - an evening of prayer and celebration for the whole family.
The evening will start with Mass at 6pm celebrated by His Excellency Bishop Paul Martin who will also open the new Shrine.
A golden statue of Our Lady (a replica of the golden statue of Our Lady of Fourvière in Lyon) is currently travelling to New Zealand from France and will be installed in the beautiful grounds of the Fourvière House of Prayer and Retreat in Leithfield.
There will be a BBQ / BYO picnic dinner followed by entertainment. Then later in the evening a candle-light procession will lead into all night adoration of the Blessed Sacrament under the stars.
Youth Groups and others are invited to assist with songs and reflections throughout the night as we see in the Feast of the Immaculate Conception.
This will be a very beautiful celebration and you and your family, parish and congregation are warmly invited to join us and Bishop Paul as we enthrone Our Lady and consecrate ourselves to her in this very special way.

VIGIL FOR THE SOLEMNITY OF THE ASSUMPTION
with the beatitudes community

5.30PM - 8.30PM at fourvière house of prayer and retreat, 67 leithfield road, leithfield 7481.
Join us for an evening of prayer in preparation for the solemnity of the Assumption. The evening includes prayer,, a teaching, music, a procession (weather permitting), fellowship.
Prayer is followed by a pot luck dinner. Please bring a plate..

the novena for Pentecost, a teaching, Litany of the Holy Spirit…
